Inside a womans purse

The interior of a purse is a little like peering into a womans mind and soul. The main items in my purse are definitely my ipod, blackberry, keys,wallet, and of course the calculator lol. I am currently enamored of my forever 21 purse that only cost me 29 dollars. It fits my Macbook and my books. It's amazing.  I love purses, and some of my favorite are ones that Vanessa Hudgens wears. I absolutely love them. We wear the purses for style but we each put our own individual characteristics inside them.

It's been awhile.

I haven't had much time to blog, unfortunately! But I really felt like doing my new post on my new accomplishment.  First of all, just so you guys have a little bit more info of me, I am an ECE engineering major. I just made my first circuit 5 days ago and I am extremely happy. I feel that there are very few woman majoring in math, science, and engineering majors, therefore I feel the need to encourage you women to go into the field! About 20% of the whole engineering workforce are women. We need more!!

Oluwadamilola Oyelola a.k.a. Dami

In my first year in college I met one of my best friends. Her name is Oluwadamilola Oyelola. LOL. Yes I know it is a very long name, it didn't even fit in the school i.d. Everyone calls her Dami though. She is crazy about fashion. She influenced me into discovering the art of thrifting. All the items above were bought in thrift stores that include the good will shop, salvation army, and the attic. Most items above were less than 10 dollars. eye makeup =)

For this eye look I basically used the Urban Decay midnight blue color pallet and a Mary Jay from Urban Decay also. first put on the Urban Decay Primer Potion on my eye lids so that the eye shadow would not smudge. I then put the mary jay eye shadow (lighter blue) all over my inner lid, outer lid, and the center lid. I put some of the midnight blue on the outside corners toward the end of the eye. I then use a pretty cheap wet and wild eye black eyeliner pencil and used it to darken my lower lash line. Then I used the Rimmel London Max mascara on both my upper and lower lashes. It's a pretty simple look. I don't know if you guys can really see it here. The top picture was taken without the flash and the bottom was with the flash.

New Discovery on How to Lose that Stubborn Belly Fat

If you have that stubborn belly fat like I do then you should definitely try the blueberry diet. Recent scientific tests prove that adding blueberries into your everyday diet helps you get rid of the belly fat. The test was done on lab rats by mixing blueberry powder into their diet . They did tests on lab rats that ate fat high calories diets and those who maintained a healthy low fat diet. Those who were on high calorie diets and ate blueberries lost belly fat while those who just ate a high calories diet without eating blueberries had a higher percentage of fat around their stomach. Researchers say that if you eat in a low calorie diet and eat blueberries then you will see better results.
I lost about 1 inch of my waist using this diet for a month and by also doing some cardio work outs. I do about 30 min worth of cardio a day and eat as healthy as possible while still adding some of my favorite treats. I also think that you should try the 8 minute ab workout on youtube to get rid of the love handles!! I will be posting my before and after pictures after I get the results I want!!

Hey guys, I just recently bought the new mascara called Falsies by Maybelline and I think it's amazing. It was just 7.99 at Duane Reade, but I'm pretty sure you can find it pretty much in every pharmacy/convenience store. It is absolutely amazing.It plumps up your eyelashes leaving it very black and long. It doesn't flake as other mascaras. Make sure you curl your eye lashes with eye lash curler then use it and it works great!


(Sorry for my unpolished eyebrows, I haven't had time to go do them)Basically this is me without any eye make up at all. the one on top. The one on the bottom is my eye with Falsies Mascara.

OPI Nail Polish Color For The Fall

Earl Gray color by OPI Nail Lacquer is one of my favorite nail polish colors for the fall. It's about 8 dollars at Sephora and lasts for about two weeks or more until it starts peeling off.

Dry Hair? No Mo' Problems!!

I suffered from dry hair for as long as I can remember. I always dye my hair from time to time, blow dry , and straighten my hair. This all creates weak looking hair that's thirsty for moisture! I bought Aussie 3- minute Miracle for $4.99 at Walgreens and it works incredibly well. Just put it on your after you take a shower and put a plastic bag over it. Keep it on for 3 minutes (although I leave it on for 15 min) then wash it off and you'll see the great results.

Hi Guys, I really recommend you guys buying the Sephora 5 pc brush set. Set includes a powder brush, blush brush, large eyeshadow brush, small eyeshadow brush, and a retractable lip brush. It is a very good brush set if you're just starting off your make up kit. It's easy to carry and pretty much has every brush that you will need!

Urban Decay Primer Potion

I really hated how my eye shadow would smudge while I was out until I bought this! The Urban Decay Primer Potion was $18 at Sephora. Even though the price is a little expensive for such a small bottle, it really does work. It absolutely does not permit your eye shadow to smudge at all.

If you're trying to do a smudge-free smokey eye shadow look then I really recommend you using the Urban Decay Primer since it will make it look flawless. The Primer is also good since it neutralizes your skin tone therefore making it easier to add some color to your eyelids.
